Age of first vaginal estrus (FVE), number of ova shed (Mean ± S.E.M.) and ovulation rate. Data is presented for control animals, left (L-LAP) and right (R-LAP) laparotomy, left (L-ULO) and right (R-ULO) unilateral ovariectomy at 32 days of age. Animals were sacrificed at FVE.
