Effect of 8-Br-cAMP and CRH on cell fusion in BeWo cells. BeWo cells were cultured in 10% CCS media and treated without (Con) or with 100 nM CRH or 100 μM 8-Br-cAMP for 72 h. Cells were stained with CellMask plasma membrane stain (red) and Hochest 33342 nuclear stain (blue), and visualized by confocal microscope (100×). Arrows indicate position of syncytium.
