  1. Fetal length (FL), fetal weight (FW), placental weight (PW), placental volume (PV), placental length (PL) and placental diameter (PD). Most specimens were from the collection of the Museum of Zoology, University of Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil (MZUSP) with temporary museum numbers given in brackets. The nomenclature follows a recent revision of Oryzomys by Weksler et al. [25]. Fresh material was collected at CEMAS, Mossoro, RN, and in São Joaquim da Barra (SJP), SP.
