Obesity induced increases in IL-6 and TNF-α levels in reproductive system organs. A-B IL-6 (A) and TNF-α (B) immunostaining granules in the stromal layer in the uterus and ovary from HFD fed mice were more intense suggesting higher levels of IL-6 and TNF-α than in the ND fed mice. However, the staining intensity in the oviducts was the same in both the HFD and ND fed groups. Scale bar = 100 μm, 200 μm, respectively.
