H2O2 and Bt2cAMP treatment increases phosphorylation of p38 MAPK and CREB in time course manner. Y1-BS1 cells were pre-treated without (a, c) or with (b, d) p38 MAPK inhibitor SB203580 overnight and then cultured in medium ± H2O2 (100 nM) or Bt2cAMP (2.5 mM) for different times. The cell lysates were subjected to SDS–PAGE followed by western blotting analysis. Phospo-specific and total p38 MAPK and CREB were detected and GAPDH used as loading control. Results are summary of three independent experiments with triplicates in each experiment. * p < 0.05, ** p < 0.01, *** p < 0.001
