Immunocytochemical characterization of isolated villous cytotrophoblast cells. Isolated cells were allowed to attach to the collagen biomatrix and immunostained for cytokeratin 7 (CK-7; a green; 97 % positive), vitronectin receptor (CD51; b green; 95 % negative) and βhCG (c red; 92 % positive), vimentin (d red; 99 % negative), vWF (e red; 99 % negative).
