Figures represent bioluminescent imaging of fetoplacental Vegfr2 activity (a) in vivo in a pregnant mouse, (b) ex vivo in a gravid uterus (inset bright field image), and (c) ex vivo in a whole FPU (inset bright field image) from a single pregnancy at gestational day (GD) 16.
