Regulation of leptin expression by adiponectin in BeWo cells and villous CT. A. BeWo cells were exposed to adiponectin (250 ng/ml) or forskolin (50 μM) for 24, 48 and 72 h. B. Villous trophoblast cells were exposed to adiponectin (25 or 250 ng/ml) for 48 h. Total RNA was extracted and analysed by RT-PCR.
