Biochemical detection of IP 3 R isoforms by Western blot assays. Arrows indicate the bands corresponding to the high molecular weight forms of the non-processed IP3Rs (≈230–250 kDa). Panel A. The presence of IP3R isoforms and low molecular weight variants in microsomal fractions from granulosa cells (G); tissues such as ovary (O), cerebellum (C), were obtained and analyzed by electrophoretic mobility. At the right side of Panel A the signal corresponds to α-actin (45 kDa). Panel B. The nuclear fractions (nuclear membranes (NM) and nucleoplasm (NP) from granulosa cells) were obtained and analyzed by electrophoretic mobility to detect the isoforms and low molecular weight variants of IP3Rs. Representative experiments of 3 independent observations.
