A analysis of antimicrobial peptide mRNA by epithelial and stromal cells. RNA was isolated as described, and the resulting cDNA was analyzed by RT-PCR for the presence of TAP, LAP, BNBD4 and DEFB5 gene transcripts as described in Materials and Methods.
