  1. Assessment of the presence of lumen and elongating spermatids. Mice were treated with vehicle (VEH) or testosterone propionate (TP) on postnatal day 2, then either a cholesterol (chol) or a 2% estradiol (E) subcutaneous implant on day 35, and testes tested at 85 days of age. Values (from 0 to 3, see text) are group mean scores ± SE of 3–5 testes per treatment group.
