Prostate phytoestrogen content in male Long-Evans rats fed either the Phyto-600 or Phyto-free diet. Phytoestrogen levels are expressed in nanograms/gram (ng/g). Total = the sum of the three main phytoestrogens (equol, daidzein, and genistein). * Animals fed the Phyto-600 diet had significantly higher total, equol, daidzein and genistein levels compared to males fed the Phyto-free diet (p < 0.05).
