Induction of deciduoma in pseudopregnant rats increases circulating progesterone and prolactin concentrations, without affecting estradiol and androstenedione Control pseudopregnant and deciduoma-bearing pseudopregnant animals were sacrificed at 18:00 h on day 11 of PSP. Trunk blood was obtained after decapitation and serum progesterone (Panel A), PRL (Panel B), estradiol (Panel C) and androstenedione (Panel D) concentrations were measured by RIA. Results are mean ± SEM of groups of 6–9 animals. Columns with different letters differ significantly. a vs. b, p < 0.01.
