PEDF gene expression in subcutaneous (scAT) and omental (omAT) adipose tissue of normal women (n = 22). Messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) was expressed as n-fold-change difference from the calibrator sample (ΔΔCT method). Values are expressed as median and interquartile range (lower and upper limit of the box). p = 0.042 in relation to scAT by Wilcoxon two-related-samples test.
