Solubilized glycoproteins were separated on a 10% gel under denaturing and reducing (+) or non-reducing (-) conditions. Forty μg of protein was loaded in each lane. The gel was stained with Coomasie Brilliant Blue R-250 (CBB, lanes 1–3) for proteins or with the periodic acid-Schiff protocol (PAS, lane 4) for carbohydrates.
