Glutathione (GSH) blocks TNFα-induced CLENDO cell death. CLENDO cells were pretreated with or without the reactive oxygen species scavenger GSH (10 mM, 30 min) prior to incubation for 48 h in the presence and absence of TNFα (50 ng/ml). CLENDO cell apoptosis was determined as described in the Material and Methods. The data represent mean ± SEM of at least three independent experiments where ''*'' denotes P < 0.05 compared to untreated control (Ctl).
